Review – Dead On Tools DO-DES Gear Destroyer Tech Tool Backpack

So you’re out in the field and you use tools. You could carry a toolbox (NOT), or a gym style bag (NOT) and have back problems from lugging it around with one arm all the time, or you could check out tool backpacks.

It seemed inevitable that in time the incredibly useful backpack would find it’s way into service, and or construction type environments. I mean who wants to carry a toolbox from the truck┬áto the actual work site?? (who knows how far away you have to park at some jobs)

So a tool backpack is really a no-brainer, it’s more about choosing which one fits your needs best and we are doing an entire article on comparing the Top 10 Tool Backpacks which can help you decide if you don’t already know which one you want.

But for now, let’s concentrate on this DO DES Tech pack which was designed for all types of network techs, installers, repair technicians and really anyone who needs to transport tools while having hands free. Think — from truck to work site, from ground up a ladder, etc…

This DO DES Tech is the Network Tech or Hacker Rebel tool backpack!

This bad boy has 29 pockets of multiple sizes, more than enough to hold all your networking tools, a laptop or notebook or files.

Besides being designed for Networking Techs, the DO DES Tech Pack could also be used by:

  • HVAC techs
  • Wind Turbine techs
  • Telecom techs
  • Satellite techs
  • Stadium Lighting techs
  • IT techs
  • Optical Fiber techs
  • Appliance Repair techs
  • General Maintenance techs

A picture is worth a thousands words…

Do you want to see this bag live?

Dead On does not have a video of their pack, and no reviewers have done a review on it. I included it because I thought it was a cool looking pack.

I wish I had more to say about this pack, but it’s a pretty standard pack, except for the fact that is really high priced for what it is and that it has a cool skull and crossbones on it. Other than that, I’d stick with a more tried and true pack like the CLC 1134 or any of the other top 9 packs. However, if you are a hacker and the thought of conformity makes you ill, then I completely understand why you might want this pack. But c’mon, even hackers have budgets…right guys?

Cool gift for the hacker in your life (or ok, penetration tester).
